As a member Michigan Garden Club and the National Garden Club. This membership affords you the opportunity to take some fantastic classes. The schools provide members and non-members with a range of educational opportunities on the art and science of the environment, gardening, landscape design and floral design.
Many of the Landscape Design, Environment and Gardening schools are offered virtually online. Descriptions and where classes are offered can be found on the National Garden Club website: https://gardenclub.org/. Check each school for dates and to determine if it is virtual or in person. Remember, you may take a school offered by any state. No hotel, driving or travel expense required. It is one of the few courses offered by the National Garden Club that does not require courses to be taken in sequence. However, for certification, you must complete all four courses. Below is a brief description of each course: Course 1:
Courses 3 and 4: Courses 3 and 4 will be held in Lansing, but the dates have not been confirmed as of this writing. Check the D2B website after the first of January for the most up-to-date information. These courses include some hands-on components that Courses 1 and 2 did not.
