Community Gardens
Our club has eight community gardens that we work on with pride.
The Great Gnome Family Scavenger Hunt
From May 15 to September 30, we hide 32 gnomes in our eight public gardens for kids to see how many they can find. This is a great family activity and the public gets to see the work we put into our public gardens. Brochures are available at the Brighton Public Library with photos of each gnome for the kids to check off.
Major Projects
We participate in a spring plant sale at the local farmer's market and a community garage sale. We participate in some other fun fundraising opportunities as well, such as sales of specially created notecards for our theme this year. These fundraising activities help us get out to meet the public and attract new members.
